หมวด ๒ การกำกับและดูแลโรงงาน

เมื่อปรากฏว่าบุคคลใดกระทำความผิดตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ หรือมีเหตุอันควรสงสัยว่ากระทำการเช่นว่านั้น ให้พนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ซึ่งแต่งตั้งจากข้าราชการไม่ต่ำกว่าระดับ ๔ มีอำนาจจับกุมผู้นั้นเพื่อส่งพนักงานสอบสวนดำเนินการต่อไปตามกฎหมาย
