หมวด ๑การจัดตั้งกองอาสารักษาดินแดน

ให้มีกรรมการคณะหนึ่งจำนวนไม่น้อยกว่าสิบคน และไม่เกินยี่สิบคน เรียกว่า “คณะกรรมการกลางกองอาสารักษาดินแดน” ประกอบด้วยรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทย เป็นประธาน รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกลาโหม เป็นรองประธานโดยตำแหน่ง ส่วนกรรมการอื่น เลขาธิการและรองเลขาธิการนั้น ให้รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทยเป็นผู้แต่งตั้งและถอดถอนโดยอนุมัติคณะรัฐมนตรี
