หมวด ๒ การกำหนดตำแหน่ง และการให้ได้รับเงินเดือนและเงินประจำตำแหน่ง

นอกจากตำแหน่งที่กำหนดในกฎหมายว่าด้วยระเบียบบริหารราชการแผ่นดินแล้ว อ.ก.พ. กระทรวงอาจกำหนดตำแหน่งที่มีชื่ออย่างอื่นเพื่อประโยชน์ในการบริหารงาน และแจ้งให้ ก.พ. ทราบด้วย
