(๑) การรับน้ำมันเข้าสู่ถัง
(๒) การจ่ายน้ำมันออกจากถัง
(๓) การที่อุณหภูมิภายนอกถังลดต่ำลง
(๔) การขยายตัวของถังที่เกิดจากอุณหภูมิภายนอกถังสูงขึ้น
